Ro 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Is your faith real? Is it something you occupy as if it were part of your very skin? Is it something that causes you to struggle in the day-to-day sinful world or do you simply allow the world to possess a space in your heart and feel 'comfortable?'
Do you fear man more than God? Does the love of this world mean more to you than your Heavenly home?
Paul had NO identity crisis when it came to his stance as a Christian. It wasn't his wit or intelligence alone that gave him his strong conviction. It was his belief, without ANY shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ truly is the Son of God and that his saving faith in his Lord would not in time become vain . He lived in the reality that at anytime he could be killed for his witnessing, yet he never stopped encouraging the saints in various churches to continue just as he did, spreading God's word to those around .
Should we be any different? Clothing styles may come and go, hair-dos, music and lifestyle in general will change again and again BUT we have a sure anchor in our Saviour. His words can never be erased . Paul's edification to the saints through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, is recorded for our gain just as it was for the gain of the early church. God does not change.

We have not only conquered Satan spiritually, but death and hell have absolutely no hold on us. We have been sealed by the Lord unto the day of redemption. That is why we have no need to fear anything in this life with the exception of our Heavenly Father. With that, we can also be assured of our permanent citizenship and adoption into the family of God.
